CE-Tech is affiliated with Georgia Tech
Materials Analysis Center (MAC) where:
CE-Tech
manages key programs for Georgia Tech
As well as
CE-Tech using the MAC to complete materials
research on their projects for key clients.
The Materials
Analysis Center at GTRI offers specialized
analysis and characterization of materials and
material processes.
The center also
conducts independent research and development in
partnership with industries that cannot afford
to acquire costly instrumentation, as well with
other industries and branches of the U.S.
government.
Services
and instrumentation offered by the
center include surface and thin-film
analysis, analytical electron
microscopy of solids and small
particulate matter, thermal analysis
and visible/infrared reflection and
emission properties.
Additional research developments
include:
ceramic composite interfaces
infrared reflectivity and
emissivity
electro-migration and corrosion
in microelectronics devices
solder microstructures
coatings analysis
qualification of instruments.
